Skin Tags.

Electrodessication is a quick, effective method for removing skin tags by using a small electric current to dry and destroy the tissue, leaving minimal bleeding and a low risk of scarring when performed properly.

  • Application of a fine electrode to the base of the skin tag, causing the tissue to coagulate and separate. Healing typically proceeds over one to two weeks with a small crust forming and gradual re-epithelialization

  • Electrodessication is suitable for most small to medium skin tags, but people with certain skin conditions, bleeding disorders or pacemakers should discuss alternatives with their clinician to ensure safety and the best cosmetic outcome.

GenesisPlus is an Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser indicated for the temporary increase of clear nail in patients with onychomycosis, more commonly known as nail fungus. Nail fungus, or onychomycosis, is a common condition estimated to affect up to 10% of the population worldwide and can cause nails to become yellowed or otherwise discolored. As the infection progresses, the affected nail may become thickened, brittle, and may begin to separate from the nail bed, and in advanced cases it can cause discomfort or pain when wearing shoes or walking.

  • Nail infections are caused by dermatophytes. They often come from swimming pools, public showers, gyms, and nail salons. Tight shoes and nail injuries can aid in infections too. Genetics, poor health, and older age increase the risk.

  • A single session takes about 20 minutes for 5–10 nails. Procedure times vary.

Patients may see improvement after one session. Required number of sessions vary based on infection severity.

  • Most patients describe the procedure as being very comfortable. A minority may experience a brief, small hot pinch or momentary sting that resolves quickly and causes little to no lasting discomfort.

  • Immediately following the procedure your nail may feel warm for a few minutes. Most patients are able to resume normal activities right away, with only minimal short‑lived sensations or mild discomfort.

Verrucca vulgaris - Wart

The Cutera GenesisPlus laser effectively treats warts, especially plantar warts, by targeting the wart's blood supply with a 1064 nm wavelength, destroying the virus while sparing surrounding healthy skin. Treatment often requires just a few quick, mildly uncomfortable sessions—comparable to a bee sting—with minimal downtime, though some temporary redness or irritation can occur.

Brochure
    • Targeted energy: A 1064 nm laser light is absorbed by blood in the wart.

    • Heat destruction: The light turns into heat, destroying the wart and the HPV causing it.

    • Minimal damage: The laser targets only the wart, leaving nearby healthy skin intact.

  • Typically three treatments, each spaced about a month apart, are recommended for full resolution, although many patients notice improvements even sooner.

  • A brief warming sensation or slight sting, usually milder than other methods. Quick — often only minutes. Minimal downtime; mild redness fades quickly.
